Works Carried Out for a Private Client in Plymouth

This internal repointing work was carried out for a private client, who has bought this beautiful little lodge and is restoring it.

The remaining plaster was cleaned off and all the external walls were repointed, while the fireplaces were cleaned and restored.

The lodge itself has some very interesting history to it. The ship Napoleon surrendered on was the Bellerophen, and in 1855 the ship’s General commissioned the lodge to be built. When the Bellerophen was broken up, timbers from the ship were used to build the lodge.

Testimonial

Aaron completed raking out and repointing stonework on original internal walls in my 200 year old house to a very reasonable quoted price. I was really pleased with Aaron’s excellent attention to detail, quality, finish, and professionalism throughout the work.

Aaron was punctual and polite at all times, and always left my property tidy even after very dusty days!  Aaron was patient with my sometimes changes to plans, he used his extensive knowledge in his trade and of period properties to communicate clearly what was and wasn’t possible sometimes suggested ideas I hadn’t thought about, again giving accurate quotes for any additional works.

Aaron showed excellent attention to detail throughout, I would highly recommend Aaron and would not hesitate to call on him again for similar works.
